What's new

Every release of Ascent Trading Systems, newest first. Bug-fix releases (only the last number changes, like 1.0.1) are free for every buyer. New systems and big updates (1.1, 2.0) are included for one year after any purchase, then with the yearly renewal or the Founders Edition. Run update.bat in your folder to get the newest version your license covers.

Version 1.0.0 (November 2026) · First release

The first public release.

• Trading engine: several strategies paper-trade US stocks and ETFs side by side through your free Alpaca paper account, each with its own virtual wallet. Four options strategies can be tested on paper.
• Council and Risk Officer: seven rule-based support agents and one ML Breakout Filter (a fixed, pre-trained model; one vote, no veto) review every new entry, each vote shows its numbers, and the Risk Officer can veto.
• Go-live Scorecard: compares paper results with the backtest and answers PASS, WAIT or FAIL. Live trading in your own Alpaca account is designed to stay locked until PASS, a pre-flight check and your typed confirmation.
• Risk controls: kill switch, daily and weekly loss limits, over a dozen health checks and watchdog restarts.
• Research tools: backtester with pre-registered tests, Paper Lab, nightly audit (optional, off until you switch it on) and crisis drills.
• Dashboard: 12 pages, including the live 3D Research Lab, the Agent Floor with plain-English thought logs, the optional Ask the Agents page (off until you add your own Anthropic key) and Help & Feedback.
• Install and updates: one-click Windows installer, guided Alpaca setup, and a one-click updater with automatic backup and rollback.
• Checks: about 900 automated tests, which you can run yourself with run_tests.bat.
